TAX COLLECTOR – FULL TIME
Lumberton Township, Burlington County is seeking a highly responsible and service-oriented individual. Must hold their Certified Tax Collector Certificate. Functions include, but are not limited to: billing, collection of taxes, assisting with Senior Citizens’ and Veterans’ deduction, reconciling deposits and inputting daily records into the computer, handling telephone and written inquiries concerning the Tax Collector’s office, requires organization and strong customer service. Proficiency in Edmunds. The candidate must have knowledge of the Edmunds platform and computer skills are required, specifically Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook), and working knowledge of financial software. FIRE INSPECTOR – PART-TIME – LUMBERTON TOWNSHIP
The Township of Lumberton, NJ is seeking interested candidates for a part-time Fire Inspector position of up to 20 hours per-week with the ability to participate in a duty investigators rotation. Under the direction of the Fire Official, duties include but are not limited to: inspecting buildings for compliance with and enforcing the provisions of applicable New Jersey Fire Codes and all other applicable Township Fire Prevention Ordinances, conducting fire and explosion investigations, and providing public education. Must possess a high school diploma and current valid Fire Inspector Certification issued by the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs. A current valid Fire Investigator Certification issued by the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs is preferred. Applicants are required to possess a driver license valid in the State of New Jersey.
